St Mary's Student Visit Gallery
A group of undergraduate and graduate students along with Professor Vidya Chandrasekaran from St. Mary's college (Moraga, CA) recently had the opportunity to tour our Sequlite facility in Pleasanton, CA. Dr. Chandrasekaran is the Program Director of the Masters in Biotechnology program. Representatives from our engineering, chemistry, and software groups presented the type of work they do in the development of our DNA sequencing instrument. Further, students got to take a peek into our science and engineering labs, where they witnessed the day to day R&D activities and saw our sequencing instrument up close! Throughout the day, students engaged with several Sequlite members, asking insightful technical questions and learning what it means to work in the exciting world of sequencing. This was an enriching experience for both Sequlite and students from St. Mary's college, and we hope to continue connecting with the local academic community.
